Nicolas has significant experience as marine warranty surveyor in Azerbaijan, Egypt, Europe, Indonesia, West Africa and UK. This has involved all aspects of project work including review of procedural documents, offshore lifts, suitability surveys of proposed marine spreads, jacket/deck/bridge loadouts, transshipments, tow and seafastening approvals.
He is an experienced hands-on rig mover, rig move warranty surveyor, and tow master, including loading and offloading mobile offshore drilling units on and off both dry transport vessels and barges.
For three consecutive years, on behalf of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, he conducted audits on all offshore drilling units, swamp barges and land rigs, prior to renewal of annual drilling licenses.
